APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS.

We are asking for parents to donate flower seeds. We will need them for class on April 18. We are going to plant them in flower pots and watch them grow.  Using this as a science project.  We will see how long it takes for the flowers to start growing.  The students will bring them home after we are done with them.

 Annual Fundraiser

The annual fundraiser for this year is going to be a bake sale on Saturday the 21st.  You should be reserving more information on this.  The first grade parents are to make some type of brownies.  We will be placing stakes around town to advertise the Bake Sale.

  New Equipment for the Playground

We will be getting new equipment for the playground. It was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Field Trip to the Zoo

The trip to the Zoo went great this year.  It was a full day trip.  We had a picnic in the grass.  The animal that most of them liked was the baby monkeys.  We visited the aquarium, rain forest, and looked at the new desert that is coming.  They learned a lot of new things about some of the animals there.  The group did not want to leave.  Next month we will be visiting the Western Heritage Museum.
